Zinc Plated Mild Steel End Fixings

Ball sockets, studs,
eyelets & clevis forks
In stock and available with next day delivery

We recommend the use of ball studs or ball sockets where possible, as they allow the gas strut to be mounted at an angle. Eyelets require the gas strut to be mounted in-line to prevent side loading and premature failure of the gas strut.

Ball studs

Ball Studs

Recommended for use with most applications as they allow the gas strut to be mounted at an angle.

Ball sockets

Ball Sockets

Allows the gas strut to be mounted at an angle without side-loading. Also available in plastic / nylon.

Eyelets

Eyelets

Used for mounting onto a bolt or pin. Eyelets are mounted "offset" as opposed to clevis forks.

Clevis Forks

Clevis Forks

Allows inline mounting (as opposed to eyelets which are offset). Can be supplied with a pin.

Inline Ball Studs

Inline Ball Studs

Inline ball studs have the male thread running parallel to the gas strut piston rod, rather than at 90 degrees.

Ball extensions
