Our gas struts come complete with a selection of end fittings that are ideal for VW and other campervans, leisure equipment and more. SGS engineers have the experience to provide factory specification end fittings for your campervan, included in the price of the gas struts.
Re-Gassing Service
SGS offers a gas strut re-gassing service which is ideal for preserving the original feel of your camper as well as saving you money. Gas struts which stand idle will lose gas pressure and strength over time, and in many cases the working parts of the gas strut have wear or damage. Our engineers are on hand to inspect your struts free of charge and if a re-gas proves unsuccessful within the warranty period the re-gassing is discounted from new gas struts purchased from SGS.
Caravans
Our range of gas struts caters for all year make and model caravans where gas struts are used for a whole host of applications. Gas struts which are not used for significant periods of time tend to lose force; caravan gas struts are a perfect candidate for our gas strut re-gassing service. If the struts can not be re-gassed our team of engineers will specify and quote for an appropriate gas spring, often more superior than the original. Caravan lockers, beds and cupboards are common applications where gas struts are used, as well as windows, access hatches, tables and chairs.
