Exposed to the elements, with an inherent susceptibility to corrosion, marine applications are serviced by stainless steel (grade 316) gas struts, tested to 70,000 cycles, with operating temperature from -30oC to 80oC. Existing struts can either be replaced from our comprehensive standard fixed force range or from our large stock of adjustable force gas struts (pre-set to maximum force in our factories and altered to the necessary pressure by the customer).
