How To Fit the Chain Brake on Your SGS Chainsaw

Fitting the chain brake casing to your SGS chainsaw can be a little bit fiddly. This quick how-to should help if you're having any problems assembling your chainsaw.  Scroll through the picture how-to above and follow the instructions. The arrow shows the notch (A) where the hole for the tensioning pin (B) is located on the chain bar.[/caption] [caption id="attachment_3373" align="aligncenter" width="900"] 3. The tensioning pin (B) in the inside of the chain brake cover needs to be lined up with the notch (A).[/caption] [caption id="attachment_3372" align="aligncenter" width="900"] 4. This is roughly the position the tensioning pin (B) should be in to mate the chain brake with the notch (A) on the bar.[/caption]
