Power Team Pipe Flange Spreader
5 and 10 Ton Capacity
Pipe flange spreaders from Power Team put an end to rudimentary “hammer and chisel” techniques. They are available with either a 5 ton or a 10 ton capacity and should be used in pairs to provide an even spreading force.
Features
- In most instances the standard 60 degree wedge is suitable, but 60 degree “blunt” and 30 degree “thin” wedges are optional
- For jobs where the total thickness of flanges and the maximum spread gap is 76.2mm or less and the flange bolts are a minimum of 17.4mm diameter, the HFS3A is appropriate
- For jobs where the total thickness of flanges and the maximum spread gap is 76.2mm or less and the flange bolts are a minimum of 20.7mm diameter, the HFS6A is the appropriate tool for the job
