This engine stand accepts a wide variety of engines and gearboxes. The head swivels 360º for accessibility to all parts of the engine and the fully adjustable mounting arms make this stand highly versatile. Swivel castors provide excellent manoeuvrability around the workshop or garage.
The chassis is a perfect fit with our engine cranes, allowing the stand to be moved inside the V of the engine crane legs to transfer the engine from the crane onto the stand.
Heavy gauge steel tube construction.
The internal diameter of the yoke is 60mm.

The strength and build quality is excellent, dont know how they do it for the price, I often think you could not by the raw metal that make the parts for the money. It always arrives next day with low cost shipping, if not free, for some very heavy kit. -

Price Delivery Quality Review by Willem(Posted on 22/07/2014)Not straight forward to useIt is the cheapest engine stand out there, but i have had to disassemble half the engine before being able to mount it onto this stand as the clutch and flywheel were in the way on my MX5 engine. I can just about use the transmission bolts to mount the engine to the stand, they just about have enough reach to get a decent hold.
Still, can't complain at the price, and as the description says it fits perfectly with the SGS engine crane. -

I hung a large american V8 off it no problem. I was a bit worried about it taking the weight and being about to rotate the engine to work on it but there was no problem. The friction actually made it quite stiff when rotating. I also purchased and engine crane from SGS and the quality on that was also excellent.
Will use you again in the future. -

I was a bit concerned about the rotating the weight of the engine but the friction makes it quite stiff. You have to be careful when moving it around when loaded but it's much better than a 3 wheeler I've used in the past. -

This stand keeps it's wheels on the ground and doesn't tip or flex while swinging transmissions around at some peculiar angles. This stand is an all around good buy. For the price, I don't believe it can be beat. -

I would definitely recommend this over the 3 leg versions out there for the extra stability. It was a tricky to get the arms and bolts lined up correctly but you will always have to adjust the arms to get the engine to fit.
