Enter Our Garden Disasters Photo Competition

Have you had a DIY disaster in your garden? Share your photos with us for a chance to win a £100 voucher to help you fix the problem!

With summer on the horizon and small outdoor meetups now permitted, many of us have been heading into our gardens and tackling a few DIY jobs. But laying a new patio and hanging a new garden gate aren’t as easy as they look!

We’ve launched a new competition to discover some of the worst DIY garden disasters in the UK. So, if you’ve laid some downright dangerous decking don’t despair just yet! Why not submit a photo and caption below and you could win a £100 voucher for an online retailer of your choice – to help you fix the problem or hire a professional who can.

Garden disasters that could fit the bill for our competition include failed attempts at…

  • Garden fencing
  • Hanging a garden gate
  • Laying a patio or decking
  • Building a shed, garden house or outbuilding
  • Digging a pond or creating a water feature
  • Cutting down a tree or overhanging branches
  • Trimming hedges or topiary
  • Creating a rockery
  • Laying gravel or cement
  • Building a brick wall

As with any garden task, it’s important to have the right tools for the job! Here at SGS Engineering we have a large range of garden tools including lawn mowers, pressure washers, hedge trimmers, strimmers and more.

Entry into our competition closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 3rd May 2021.
