Unfortunately the delivery company was Tufnells and the driver was useless, didn’t want to walk down the Lane to deliver the items… rang me and asked me to walk up. Every other delivery company delivers here. Would never use Tufnells.

I purchased a low profile, high lift trolley jack and a pair of axle stands, both were at sale prices. Both products are really top quality and certainly look like they're made to last, time will tell. Best price on the market and with free next day delivery, arrived on time. Will definitely recommend SGS, have done already.

Arrived quickly - look well made. But be aware that the jacks are 2 tonne each, not 4 tonne - a bit deceiving really. Look carefully on the website when buying. Should be labelled as pair of 2 tonne.

I have given 4 star and not 5 because it says 4 tone which is true for both but individually they hold 2 tone each. This to me is slight misleading and also i would have been happy if they would come with rubber cushion at the top. The rubber cushion are sold separately :(

Plus the extra safety of the locking pin make you feel better when underneath a vehicle. Easy to use the rachet system you wouldn't think would make a difference but it does.

Theses axle stands are great. There are many different colours and brands of similar axle stands all over the internet and in motor stores, all at similar prices. These stands differ and stand out in my opinion because for just a couple of pounds more you get wide, flat feet and the all important locking pin. Anyone who considers buying anything other than these in this price range is crazy. Remember, without the locking pin you are only one kick of the ratchet arm away from your car dropping on you. If you treat them right, these should last forever.

Their products are not your typical cheaply made junk. No. These guys make serious stuff. If you want something that will last longer than you and your grand children then buy from these guys. "These JSR2 axle stands are rated at 2 Tons each, and are very nicely made from thick steel for the base and heavy castings for the ratchet column. The 4 Tons relates to the total weight the pair can carry.

When fully closed down (with the optional extra fitted rubber pads on top) they just go under the jacking points on the sills of both my cars, but when extended allow the previously jacked-up car to be securely held high enough for safe and easy access underneath. The ratchet mechanism is brilliant for quick setting and release, and with the Safety peg inserted there will not be any inadvertent release.

Excellent quality! I've had these for several months now and given them plenty of use. Good size both high and low and the ratchet gives you more height options than the normal pin type axle stands. Well made and should last a lifetime.

Always a pleasure to deal with SGS, friendly online chat and telephone, will always try to advise on the best product from their range. I wasn't sure whether to get the pin type or ratchet axle stands and was worried that the ratchet set I had already purchased from Halfords wasn't safe as there was just a little bit of metal supporting the vehicle. I was advised that these stands have an extra pin so are safer than normal ratchet type. Needless to say I returned the Halfords stands and purchased these instead and am very pleased.

These axle stands are well made, are at an excellent price and were delivered fast. The ratchet design is more versatile than the normal pin type and they also go to a lower height. Very useful and adaptable, pleased with my purchase.

I have had a few sets of axle stands in the past and these are the best set i've ever owned by far. They are very well made with no wobble or movement unlike and feel very safe to work under.

So far these have been rock solid for me and feel totally safe when working under them. I have four and an aluminium trolley jack purchased on a deal so I can fully jack my Golf GTI and would recommend both the stands and jack.

After having some folding stands collapse on me (luckily I wasn't under the car!!) I went for these. They are the only ratchet ones I could find with the extra locking pin and they feel much more stable than the folding type. Excellent value for a quality product.

im really pleased with my new axle stands, they were delivered next day as promised and work a treat. they feel really well made and not like some of the cheap tat out there - v important i think then working under 2 tons!!!

I purchased 2 x sets of your 2 ton ratchet axle stands and would like to compliment you on the quality and operation of these units. one of the benefits of choosing your product was the added benefit of safety pins, something not apparent on other brands, something I am sure is a important feature to other prospective buyers.

Wasn't sure if the price was for a pair or each at first; nice pair of stands for such a bargain price! I haven't seen any with the locking pin before- this is a really good feature as there is no danger of them coming down on you once this pin is in. very happy with this purchase :-)
