Purchased for my Toyota Celica T Sport, arrived within 48 hrs of order. Why these are sold priced singularly when you need two a pair to fit L & R I cannot understand. Anyway with the boot hatch supported and using just two spanners 10mm and 14mm they were soon fitted. Would like to have seen markings for left and right on the struts as an aid to correct fitting. On testing with the minimum of help the boot lifted then lifted itself to fully open, nice.

Well designed website: I found the gas struts for my car quickly. Good value: £48.54 instead of £301.58 at a Toyota main dealer (although that did include fitting). Fast, knowledgeable response when I phoned to check. Arrived quickly, and well-packed. Struts look good quality.

Nicely made parts properly engineered in a traditional manner. Ordered about 2 minutes to 4pm with standard delivery, but the package was on my doorstep by 8am the next morning!

Gas strut failed on Friday morning, found replacements at SGS on Friday afternoon after helpful conversation with Thomas to identify the correct part.
Parts arrived and fitted Monday morning.

Got a pair of replacement tailgate struts for my Toyota Celica, fitted them in 15 mins what a difference these new struts have made the tailgate now stays up no more fear of it closing on either my head or hands, excellent service and excellent product many thanks.

I received my Boot Struts today had them on in 20 minutes great job. The best price i could get in Ireland was 170 Euros for the pair after post and all with SGS it was 69 Euros for the pair great value very happy will be getting any other part i need off them

The unsuitability of the old tailgate struts to be re-gassed was made plain by telephone on Wednesday morning and agreement to take new struts made at the same time

Great job SGS, tailgate struts were delivered next day and at a massive saving over the price i'd got from the dealer. I called for some advice on removing the old ball studs and the person I spoke to was very helpful and knowledgable.
