Our professional 5 drawer roll-away tool cabinet and 9 drawer tool chest is exceptional value and ideal for workshop, automotive and garage use. The incorporated special features are designed to ensure long term service with security and ease of use.
Super smooth ball bearing sliders means the drawers are effortless and glide open with a reassuringly sturdy “click” when fully extended. Heavy gauge double wall steel construction with reinforced base and powder coated finish ensure a long service life.
All the drawers lock via a single tumbler lock.
Controlled movement with a full length handle that fits either side of the cabinet. Four large polypropylene caster wheels with locking brakes provide easy mobility around the workshop (two fixed and swivel with brake)
The spacious drawers include a liner to protect and prevent your tools from slipping.
Top chest 15kg max capacity per drawer.
Bottom cabinet 25kg max capacity per drawer.
Total height: 1065mm / 1210mm with wheels

Fit and finish much better than expected. Very well made. Threads good. Came with a few extra fasteners. Drawers have a positive open/close action requiring a little extra force initially. They will stay closed while moving the chest around the shop. Ball bearings on every wheel. -

Quality Price Delivery Review by Clive(Posted on 16/12/2020)SGS tool chests are in a different leagueSGS tool chests and trolleys are in a different league to the flimsy badly made alternatives available. I returned a Clarke trolley/chest to Machine Mart, it was not what I expected for the money with weld distortion and misalignment causing twists and dents in the flimsy single skin shell. The extra few pounds spent at SGS are compensated for by the free quality drawer liners and free delivery.
The 26" SGS professional chest/trolley is well made heavy duty, built to last and larger all round, I have since purchased the 3-drawer mid chest.
Excellent value for money and quality. -

Price Delivery Quality Review by David Carter(Posted on 14/08/2020)SGS 26" Pro 14 Drawer Tool Chest & Roller CabinetI trawled the net to find a fair priced tool chest and cabinet and have to say I am very impressed with the SGS 26' Pro 14 Drawer combo. Sure other manufacturers have soft closing mechanisms and gas struts but this is a great combo at a great price. The drawers feel secure and able to take my range of tools with reassuringly sturdy castor rollers. Each drawer comes with a rubber/foam mat which saves spending initially £30-50 on Casoman liner roll/s, although the SGS liners may well need replacing in the future if they start to wear. The push handle feels firm and secure and overall the quality feels good and likely to survive my needs.
Having just moved property I had not updated my PayPal details and noticed after securing the order close to midnight. A quick email to SGS was followed up swiftly the next morning assuring me the order would not be processed and cancelled to allow me to adjust my details and re-order, which of course I did. Great customer service, which echoes other reviews I have read.

Item description on website and technical specs much better than many other tool box manufacturers i carried out a lot of research and found SGS had very good tech spec information. 10 year warranty. And looks very good assembled in my shed.
Room for improvement: The instructions that come with the boxes were i felt poor, i worked out what the different bolts fitted and after about 15 mins how to remove the draws, whilst this is in the instructions,it is not made clear when they describe R/H/S and L/H/S they are looking from the back of the box not facing it.
a small tray that could be fitted on the opposite to the handle, using the holes already there would be a nice add on [i would be happy to buy one if available]. -

It was well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. It was easy to assemble just a 10mm spanner required. It appears to be of a good quality with ample storage for my tools. I am just using it for home and DIY tools. It is a lot better than the 3 toolboxes I currently have and is a lot easier to find the right tool. It was at a good price point for this type of toolkit and should last years but has the comfort of the 10 year guarantee. All in all I am quite pleased so far. -

Higher cost ones were beyond what, as a hobby mechanic I would pay, but I saw some less expensive ones and found that they were very flimsy. The weight of this unit is far higher than those and I took this combined with the 10 year guarantee to be a good sign.
I really do believe this is a great tool cabinet, sturdy and capable of housing the vast majority of my tools, high quality finish, well packed, and delivered the next day.
I would recommend this highly to anyone else considering purchasing. -

The drawer depths are just great allowing you to use ice cream tubs or boxes to keep small parts safe. The positive closing and locking on all the drawers is excellent although I do find having to have the lid open on the top chest a bit of a pain! The large drawers fit all my tools at work and the ball bearing runners on the drawers are excellent. I could not find anything as good as this for the same price – including free next day delivery.

Item description on website and technical specs much better than many other tool box manufacturers i carried out a lot of research and found SGS had very good tech spec information. 10 year warranty. And looks very good assembled in my shed.
Room for improvement: The instructions that come with the boxes were i felt poor, i worked out what the different bolts fitted and after about 15 mins how to remove the draws, whilst this is in the instructions,it is not made clear when they describe R/H/S and L/H/S they are looking from the back of the box not facing it.
a small tray that could be fitted on the opposite to the handle, using the holes already there would be a nice add on [i would be happy to buy one if available]. -

Now he is organised, can find his tools, and I can see the dining table once more. It was well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. It was easy to assemble just a 10mm spanner required. It appears to be of a good quality with ample storage for my tools. I am just using it for home and DIY tools. It is a lot better than the 3 toolboxes I currently have and is a lot easier to find the right tool. It was at a good price point for this type of toolkit and should last years but has the comfort of the 10 year guarantee. All in all I am quite pleased so far. -

Higher cost ones were beyond what, as a hobby mechanic I would pay, but I saw some less expensive ones and found that they were very flimsy. The weight of this unit is far higher than those and I took this combined with the 10 year guarantee to be a good sign.
I really do believe this is a great tool cabinet, sturdy and capable of housing the vast majority of my tools, high quality finish, well packed, and delivered the next day.
I would recommend this highly to anyone else considering purchasing. -

The drawer depths are just great allowing you to use ice cream tubs or boxes to keep small parts safe. The positive closing and locking on all the drawers is excellent although I do find having to have the lid open on the top chest a bit of a pain! Ordered in the afternoon and TNT got me out of bed at 0730 the following morning - brilliant! Many thanks SGS - very happy chap! Peter -

The large drawers fit all my tools at work and the ball bearing runners on the drawers are excellent. I could not find anything as good as this for the same price – including free next day delivery.
Highly recommended, you will be impressed by the quality of this great bit of kit.
