The Ryobi pneumatic SDS+ mechanism is part of an advanced chuck system to allow huge amounts of energy transfer, ideal for drilling into hard materials. This bundle includes 8 piece SDS+ accessory set ideal for masonry applications, as well as two 1.3Ah batteries and charger.
Small and Mighty
The clever L shaped design makes the drill impressively compact, meaning the operator can get closer to the work surface for more control and better sight-lines. Bearing slots allow the drill bit to move with the hammer mechanism and are secured by a retaining ball. Ryobi AntiVibe technology enables the drill to deliver similar vibration levels to other drills in its class, while providing almost twice the impact energy!
Note: this drill requires special high impact bits because a standard chuck bit would not stand up to the immense impact energy and standard bits would come lose and fall out. 8 bits included.
GripZone positive grip gives the tool a comfortable handle and a greater level of accuracy, even during those tougher applications. Built in LED work-lights make everything visible which is especially useful in dimly lit areas.
Interchangeable Modes - Rotary Hammer Drill and Chisel Adjust
This is the first cordless 4-mode SDS+ in its class. Select chisel / chisel adjustment mode for simple and quick to removal of tiles. Hammer drill into concrete and brick, or turn the hammer action off for wood, metal or tile. The innovative pneumatic hammer mechanism allows this tool to tackle up to 16mm drilling in concrete.
