The generator requires engine oil before first use. The included SGS Premium Grade 10W30 Semi Synthetic Engine Oil is suitable for the initial fill, with oil remaining for future maintenance.

Important Tips:

• Calculate Your Requirements: Add together the running wattage of all devices you intend to power, then identify the appliance with the highest starting wattage. Add this figure to your total running wattage and note both values.

• Allow for Headroom: Choose a generator that exceeds both your running power requirement and your peak power requirement. It is recommended to allow an additional 20% capacity to help prevent overloading.

• Understand Load Types: This generator can power both resistive loads, such as heaters and lighting, and inductive loads, such as motors, compressors and power tools. Inductive loads typically require significantly higher power during start up.
