SIP 4 Inch Belt Linisher

The SIP 4" Belt Linisher is designed for removing sharp edges and burrs from workpieces and finishing metalwork products. This includes cleaning and grinding of products, tubes and profiles. Ideal for metals including mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel. With a high-quality and long-lasting zirconium bonded belt, this linisher is essential for professional metalwork, engineering and fabrication workshop processes.

TWO-POINT BELT ACCESS FOR VERSATILE USE IN A VARIETY OF LINISHING APPLICATIONS: This versatile machine has 2 accessible working points (wheel and full platen) for a range of linishing tasks. Belt speed runs at 19mtr/sec for robust application use. An adjustable tool support ensures workpiece makes accurate contact with the wheel. An adjustable belt tracker is fitted to ensure abrasive belt is centralised at all times.

QUICK-RELEASE BELT CHANGES VIA ACCESS PANEL HELPS REDUCE MACHINE DOWNTIME: The abrasive zirconium bonded belt can be quickly released and replaced using an easy-access panel.

METAL DUST EXTRACTION PORT ALLOWS PAIRING WITH A DUST EXTRACTION SOLUTION: A 100mm metal dust extraction port to be paired with the SIP Metal Dust Collector (01996, sold separately).

HIGH TORQUE VARIABLE SPEED INVERTER MOTOR CONTROL: Easy-to-control via a single dial, the infinitely variable speed range can be adjusted to quickly cut a variety of materials and thicknesses. The digital display indicates the cutting speed. The inverter motor control is fan-cooled allowing for continuous use.

DIRECT DRIVE MOTOR GEARBOX: Direct-driven from the induction motor, the gearbox transmission system delivers positive and precise cutting, eliminating need for belt alignment or adjustment.

HEAVY-DUTY CAST IRON SWIVEL BOW HEAD: The swivel head action allows cutting between 0° and 60° without moving workpiece from the vice. Fitted to a pressed steel base, this weighted machine provides a rigid cutting platform which helps to reduce vibration and increase cutting accuracy. Auto-stop cut function engages when the cutting process is complete. Supplied with bi-metal vari-pitch blade for enhanced cutting performance. A manual blade tensioner ensures the blade cuts cleanly and accurately. This optimises blade performance, removing any guesswork when processing materials. Also fitted to the bow, a coolant system extends blade life and cools cutting area.

ADJUSTABLE CAST IRON VICE: Cast iron vice securely holds the workpiece for precise cutting, whilst a quick-release handle ensures material can be quickly changed.
