SGS Professional 7 Drawer Side Locker

Do you need to increase the storage capacity of your mobile tool cabinet? Then this add-on side locker could be the perfect solution. Designed to complement our 42" range mobile tool cabinets, this seven drawer unit is perfect for securely storing hand tools, power tools, fasteners and all manner of workshop equipment.

Compatible with SGS Engineering's STC4200B tool cabinet. Up to two side lockers can be fitted to the cabinet.

Super smooth ball bearing sliders means the drawers are effortless and glide open with a reassuringly sturdy “click” when fully extended. Heavy gauge double wall steel construction and a tough powdered coat protective finish for a long life.

The spacious drawers include a liner to protect your tools and prevent them from slipping.

Heavy gauge sheet-steel is wrapped around the steel frame structure to maximise the rated load capacity of your tool box while keeping the overall weight low, in a processes similar to how aircraft wing is engineered. While the skin itself is just 2.3 mm thick, structural corners and around the edges of the chest the material is double or triple rolled ensuring the integrity. The actual thickness of the skin has no bearing on the actual rated load of the tool chest.

So what does that mean for you? If you take 42” roller cabinet it can take a 500kg load - add 2 side-lockers at 210kg capacity and then chuck a top box on top of it with a 160kg capacity, you are looking at a load bearing of 1080 kg - over one ton!
