Having been looking for a big tool box for when I got to bike parks across the UK; I’d looked at several brands and in one review this SGS box was recommended so I had a look. The website explained the details of the tool chest very well with plenty of good photos. I took a punt on it and it arrived within the delivery window. long story short though, This is a great product! Compared to similar products from rivals the SGS one is head and shoulders above the others - some of which are more expensive.
I’ve managed to get all my tools for bike repair and some spares for commonly broken/lost small parts. All pieces mount together snugly and feels more than strong enough to deal with being dragged across building sites or bike park car parks without shaking itself to pieces. The frame it mounts to and has the wheels and retractable handle on again are more than up to the job. Only slight grumble is that the wheels could benefit from being slightly larger. This is perfect say for a weekend away riding or for privateer racers on a budget. Get a decent bike repair stand and you’ll have everything you need for a mobile pits. With that in mind having padlock eyelets is a welcome addition should you need to leave your tools unattended for whatever reason. If I ever need a replacement or for another hobby I would have no reservations about getting another one.

Fast delivery ( free next day ). Tool box was very well packaged and very well protected inside the box. Toolbox is extremely well made, strong and robust. It’s probably ‘over the top’ in regards for my needs - I need to transport my liquids and tools for analogue photography. The high quality construction of toolbox reflects my own photographic work. Very pleased all round and would highly recommended the toolbox and SGS.

Arrived on time. Item as described. Excellent condition. Perfect as mobile toolbox for my Track Days. Suggestions for making it even better: offer anti-slip inlays for the shelves so tools don’t rattle around. Would buy again.

I bought a 3 part metal tool box after getting a bad quality plastic one elsewhere. I found SGS engineering and was impressed with the price for the product. It arrived the next day and it fits the purpose very well for detailing products. It is very heavy as you'd expect but worth it for the quality. Will look at buying from SGS Engineering again in the future and recommending to others.

What can I say, for the price you get a hell of a lot, extremely well manufactured tougher than i first thought and bold all my tools better than my last one which was just ABS plastic and was expensive not mentioned names as i dont do that but SGS have nailed it with this tool chest and it brakes down to fit nicely in my car.

I've had mine for nearly 2 years and it functions as well today as it did the day it arrived. It's been thrown on and off of vans countless times, and protects all my power tools very well. I've lined the 2 drawers with Kaizen Foam, and that helps to organise and protect all my small engineering tools very well. Highly Recommended, will probably buy another one!

Its great well made looks good and loads of space for what it is, it would be great if the drawers were alittle longer but the depth kind of make up for it the only of thing is the trolly handle i dont know if its up to it same as the wheels i would like then to of had bigget heavy duty wheels

i received my tool box this afternoon just 24 hours after ordering what can i say about this superb tool box it looks great and is put together superbly well their is plenty of room for my tools I already have a full size tool chest but this saves me moving it in and out of the garage as I can be really heavy to move when full this way i can keep just the tools i use on a regular day to day to day basis to hand it is extremely portable as well i cannot fault it at the moment and would highly recommend this tool box delivery was also super fast well done SGS.

The drawer catch has broken when I caught it driving my off-road car in (hardly the boxes fault hitting it with 1/2ton of car!)

Exactly what I needed at the right price and next day delivery

After about 3 years of ummin and arrin i bite the bullet and bought me self a mobile tool chest, i found this one as it looked a little more sturdy then other makes and models. so the verdict yeah its not bad bit of kit , the 2 draws feel sturdy , they seem to hold plenty of weight , its well presented. and good value for money , the downside to me is it needs 3 draws , and there are these little holes on the front which need some kind of long pin stuck through them to stop the draws from flying open , which isn't provided in the box , but i managed to find somthing lying around other then that , its tided up all the loose tools i have hanging around in my van and now its all tidy for a change nice one SGS.

I was surprised at how well made these toolboxes are. The middle section has a rubber mat covering and is strong enough for me to stand on! The aluminium handle is very well made and gives a touch of class. Maybe I would have preferred more drawers rather than the storage compartment at the bottom but that is being picky.

Purchasing a second unit for my son now!
