Both our locking and non-locking brackets act as the hinge to connect the top and bottom of the bed together. The gas struts provide stored energy assisting with raising and then holding the bed in the open position. As the bracket opens the top section moves forward preventing fouling against a headboard or wall.

Each gas strut is capable of delivery 1200N of force, making them suitable for even the largest kingside bed with heavy memory foam mattress.
