If you are unsure of the force needed for your application, our variable gas struts have a valve to release gas and adjust the force to exact amount required. Gas can only be removed and not added, but if you do release too much SGS offers a re-gassing service that can refill your struts.
Select a rod diameter from below, depending on the force range required. 6mm diameter rod gas struts have a maximum working force of 350N, 8mm diameter rod 700N, 10mm diameter rod 1200N and 14mm diameter rod 2500N.
