This excellent bit twin kit from Milwaukee brings you a 57 piece SHOCKWAVE™ Impact Duty Bit set and a 19 piece THUNDERWEB™ HSS-G Metal and Hard Materials Drill Bit set.

Designed for use with impact drivers, the SHOCKWAVE™ IMPACT DUTY accessory line is not only ideal for heavy duty impact applications, but also delivers a full system solution for all the user's drilling and fastening needs. Every bit features Milwaukee's laser hardened WEAR GUARD TIP™ for improved wear resistance and protection of the fit over the life of the bit. The SHOCK ZONE™ Geometry allows the bit to flex and reduces stress at the tip, resulting in less tip breakages. The combination of the SHOCK ZONE™ design and special heat treatment absorbs impacts and allows the bit to flex with spring like action. Milwaukee's custom metal formula makes the SHOCKWAVE™ bits more resistant to shock from impacting.

For the drill bits, the THUNDERWEB design is characterised by a conical shaped web which gets thicker towards the back of the drill bit. Standard drill bits have a constant thickness throughout their length. Even at the narrowest point the THUNDERWEB core is thicker than that of a standard drill bit. The bits feature a parabolic web cross section which translates to large web thickness, enabling for built in strength. The THUNDERWEB flute form ejects hot chips rapidly and dissipates heat better, increasing life time. Thanks to the 135° Split point - Precision starting, drill bit won't walk on material surface. The polished finish reduces friction and extends drill bit life. Impact resistant ABS case with added rubber corner protection. The bits accept higher feed pressure and torque equalling to fewer breakages.
